WITHMIA v1.0.1 — Your platform, your style: themes, colors and quotes of the day
The first WITHMIA update brings full visual customization with 16 color palettes, a Canva-style custom color picker, motivational quotes backed by Wikipedia-verified dates, and improvements across the entire interface.

When we shipped v1.0.0, we knew the functionality was solid. But something essential was missing: every company needed to be able to feel the platform was theirs. With v1.0.1, WITHMIA stops being a generic tool and becomes a visual extension of your brand.
Theme system: 16 palettes, endless possibilities
The most visible change is the new theme system, which completely transforms how WITHMIA looks and feels.
We hand-picked 16 color palettes — from professional, understated tones to bold, vibrant combinations. Each palette ships with dark and light variants that adapt automatically to the browser preference or to the user’s manual setting.
Behind every theme sit more than 40 CSS variables controlling each piece of the interface: navigation, sidebar, cards, buttons, badges, inputs, modals and more. The glassmorphism effect that defines WITHMIA’s look adapts dynamically, keeping everything visually coherent no matter which palette you choose.
Switching themes is instant, thanks to CSS variables injected into :root — no page reload required.
Custom color picker: Canva-level design
None of the 16 palettes quite doing it for you? The new CustomColorPicker lets you build your own theme from scratch.
Inspired by the design experience in Canva, the picker includes:
- Interactive HSV map with real-time dragging — move the cursor and watch the whole interface change instantly
- Independent hue slider to pick the base color
- Two-way HEX ↔ HSV conversion with manual input for anyone who prefers exact values
- Live preview showing how every component will look before you apply it
The color you choose propagates across the entire platform: the sidebar, status badges, presence indicators, button accents, even card backgrounds.
Quotes of the day: motivation with historical context
Every time you open WITHMIA, a motivational quote greets you on the dashboard. But it isn’t a random line — each one is tied to the day of the year through a verified historical fact.
The system uses Wikipedia-verified anniversaries to give each quote context. If today marks the anniversary of a scientific milestone, a first radio broadcast or the birth of a visionary, the quote connects to that moment.
We replaced the previous system, which used OpenAI to generate dates (and occasionally hallucinated them), with a curated, manually verified database. Every entry includes the exact year and its verification source.
The result: a micro-moment of inspiration that makes opening WITHMIA feel like more than opening a work tool.
Chat background improvements
The conversations area background now adapts intelligently to the selected theme. The new --theme-chat-overlay variable automatically computes the right overlay using the mixWithBlackAlpha and mixWithWhiteAlpha functions, depending on whether the theme is dark or light.
The effect is subtle but important: chat bubbles, timestamps and status indicators stay perfectly readable no matter which color combination you pick.
Themed components across the interface
Theming here isn’t cosmetic — it’s systemic. We updated every component on the platform to respect the active theme:
- Tickets and filters: badges, borders and backgrounds adapt to the theme accent
- Notification panel: icons and dividers respect the active palette
- Settings and preferences: inputs, toggles and sections stay chromatically consistent
- User profile: avatar, role badges and stats blend into the theme
- Subscription and billing: plan cards and CTAs inherit the selected accent
- Conversation sidebar: presence indicators and counters use theme colors
Notable fixes
Beyond the theme system, v1.0.1 fixes five bugs reported by the community:
- “Agent typing” indicator no longer shows up when nobody is typing
- Whisper audio transcription now works correctly across all formats
- Duplicate notifications are gone — one event, one notification
- Inbox scrolling fixed for long conversation lists
- WhatsApp reconnection improved with better timeout handling
This is only the beginning
v1.0.1 sets out our philosophy: WITHMIA isn’t just powerful, it’s yours. Every update aims to make the tool adapt to the way you work, not the other way around.
